Youth Red Cross (YRC) is a voluntary service body of our College, Government Arts College, Paramakudi, Which supports humanitarian services to the human being in health related services to the community. YRC make awareness to know our body problems.
        Every year Government Arts College, Paramakudi, YRC programme officer conducts orientation programme and meetings for general awareness, Disaster management, Save energy, Blood donation camp, General health check up, Planting trees, first aid and Swachh bharat Abiyan which was introduced by P.M. Narendra Modi.
        We celebrated 2019- International Women’s Day in our college under the guidance of Dr.K.R.T.Asha (HOD of Biochemistry) the then YRC programme officer and also conducted primary health check up and precautionary methods of Covid-19.

At present YRC programme Co- Coordinator is Dr.G.Mane Thanam.
